Who We Are

Paint Like a Girl Inc. is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering underserved youth, with a special focus on girls, by expanding access to education, STEM opportunities, and inspiring learning environments. Through school and community learning space makeovers, educational support programs, and hands-on STEM initiatives, Paint Like a Girl Inc. works to spark curiosity, creativity, and academic achievement. We believe that when girls are given access to resources, mentorship, and environments that encourage learning, they gain the confidence to become innovators, leaders, and change-makers in their communities. Our work bridges the gap between education, creativity, and opportunity—ensuring that every girl has the tools she needs to imagine and build a brighter future.

Our Primary Colors

Red, green and blue are the primary colors we use to paint a brighter tomorrow for those we serve!, Red is associated widely with Love, the greatest emotion known to mankind demonstrated by God whom we are created in his image! Our Love is inclusive to All unconditionally!, We understand the complexities of life and life story void of this color; a life full of barriers, hinderances and desires uncomforted.

We exist to show up as Beacons of Light and Hope where barriers of hopelessness either hinder or halt the progress of a Quality Education for Our Deserving Underprivileged Young Scholars!, Our Color Me Green Program is designed to empower each student with the tools, support and encouragement needed to flourish on their Educational Journeys.

Green exemplifies growth, renewal, balance and fosters new hope. New hope that promotes visible forward movements on the Educational Staircase while stimulating motivations and creativity to step into purpose, we Paint Like a Girl on the life canvases of others with colors that change lives!

We are careful in our attention to the details of the needs of our young scholars!

Blue helps to balance our journeys together with Peace of Mind, Trust and Reliability, Stability and Structure to name a few structural beams of the foundation we lay.

We are careful and mindful of the fragile pieces that life can leave a person’s condition in after a storm. So, we lightly add hints of Blue conveying a sense of loyalty, security, calmness and stability to create an atmosphere of sincerity to where help our efforts are felt and embraced.

Our Color Palette

We have carefully chosen primary colors and secondary colors to express our creativity in Living Color on the life canvases of others!

Yellow is purposefully used to promote Cheerfulness, Happiness and Well-being to those we serve and to those who are supporting our causes! Purple is also purposefully used to highlight the importance of everyone we serve!

Purple is a display of Royalty, Power and Wealth! Purple a combination of Blue and Red which is simply saying we are Peculiar by God walking in Wealthy Places as Change makers on assignment!

Orange is our color that represents transformation, abundance and harvest! Orange transform both the Artist as well as the Masterpiece being painted, we all are learning and growing Together in Unity and Vitality! Splashes of Orange embodies creativity and a zest for life unapologetically!

Pink represents our compassion, nurture and the creative little girl in us! As we support the International Symbol of Hope and Awareness for Our Breast Cancer Survivors, we unconditionally express Our Love, Our Support and Our Concerns for those who need Our Kindness and Considerations in time as of today’s world..

Our Brushes

An Artist has an array of brushes that can be used to change the mood, style and impact of an artwork! Each life we impact has been impacted by the brush needed for their circumstances. Some circumstances need either a Round, Flat, or Filbert Brush where what has been started can be finished! The effects of these brushes offer blended edges and smooth transitions. We offer the support needed to achieve a quality education through our sponsorships, scholarships and school supply give away events!

Other Brushes like the Angular, Fan and Rigger Brushes are perfect for details, texture and perfect lines. With these brushes we paint atmospheres where all can grow into a better tomorrow!

Our Canvases of Youth Education

An artist also has an array of canvas types in which to paint. Different canvases give a better result according to the type of paint used. Artists will use oil, acrylic or watercolor paints and many more paints to achieve a masterpiece! We prefer universal canvas types and paint that fit the situation or circumstance we encounter.  Our canvases universal in nature are inclusive to all! The young scholars of Kapalong, Tagum City, and Barangay Upo Maitum Sarangi Province are the canvases we in our fledgling debut we take pride in. We have two years of service on the ground and we are growing at an alarming rate of speed for students of all ages that need our support.

Our Spiritual Empowerment

We believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ! We believe in Acts 2:38 and Romans 6:1-10. Is our call to action for all who desire to follow Jesus Christ! And we share these beliefs with you! Acts 2:38 urges us to pursue Christ through true Repentance, Baptism in Jesus Name for the removal of sins and receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost which is the New Birth Experience. We believe that applying these 3 steps completes God complete Plan of Salvation. Hebrews 6:1 encourages us to move beyond the elementary teachings of the 3 steps of Jesus Christ Complete Plan of Salvation and go on to maturity not laying again the Foundation of Repentance. Verse 9 explains that there are better things that accompany Salvation, and in following Christ he remembers your Labor of Love with promotion to true purpose!

Our Masterpieces

The stories of those we serve matter greatly! Our concern is to lay a firm financial foundation where our young scholars can achieve their educational dreams without the stresses of how they will achieve it! We exist to paint a better tomorrow and a great journey along the way! This doesn’t mean there will not be any struggles, it simply means we are here to assist and travel along the way with you!

We are committed to success in our partnering with our young scholars, we agree for a brighter future for each of them! Our impact is meant to strengthen the confidence needed to navigate a quality education whereby class participation comes naturally, and the experience is enjoyed and remembered in a positive light! We will add the necessary shadowing to bring the best of each of our students, the necessary textures so that they believe they can achieve it and the necessary tones that agree in contrast with beautiful outcomes.

Partner with us in helping to support our young scholars who really need some help in achieving their education and path to a better future! Help us Paint Like a Girl!

Through this comprehensive support, Scholar's Path aims to empower students to pursue their educational goals and build a brighter future. Bright Steps Learning Space Makeover Program Bright Steps Learning Space Makeover Programs is dedicated to transforming Indigenous Community Schools in Davao, Philippines by improving and beautifying their learning environments. Our initiative began with donating paint to Clementa F Royo Elementary School in Kapalong Davao and constructing comfort rooms to create cleaner, safer, and more welcoming spaces for students and staff in T'boli City's Henry Mulok Riesland Elementary School. We believe that vibrant, well-maintained school facilities inspire pride, boost morale, and encourage greater engagement in learning. Through this program, we aim to partner with schools and communities to renew classrooms, play areas, and common spaces, making every step of a student’s educational journey a brighter, more uplifting experience. Our goal is to foster spaces where scholars feel valued, motivated, and supported to reach their full potential.

It began with a promise—made on a dusty red road in DelMonico banana country, Kapalong, on November 26, 2023, while heading to baptize 9 souls in Jesus’ Name.

That day, I was asked to ride with two young ladies. One called me Mama—a word that shook my soul and fulfilled a promise God made during my season of grief.

Months before, I had mourned deeply the loss of my nephew Daequan, the son I never had. As a barren woman, I carried the quiet pain of emptiness and exclusion. But God, in His divine way, answered my sorrow with unexpected joy.

That November encounter began a journey of love and healing. I became a single mother to those girls—and soon, to many more daughters and sons. Together, we’ve shared tears, victories, and deep love that only God could have authored.

This is not just my story—it is our beginning, a testimony of grace, promise, and family.

(Proverbs 31:28, Isaiah 54:5)
